A Collection of Pearls
Each of us at some point in time during our membership in Toastmasters are
encouraged to collect quotes, one liners, and thoughts that we come across
on a daily basis. One such Toastmaster has done that for the past couple
of years. Please enjoy the following list compiled by Linda Broyles, ATM,
member of Tuesday Toasters, Club #3004, District 63, Region 5.

Rule No. 1
If we don't take care of our customers, somebody else will.
Team work is the ability to work together toward a common vision.
The ability to direct individual accomplishment toward organizational
objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain
uncommon results.

Goals - No one can predict to what heights you can soar. Even you will not know
until you spread your wings.
Learn to listen, opportunity sometimes knocks very softly.
Make new friends but cherish the old ones.

Look for reasons why an idea will work, not why it won't.
