Tuesday Toasters' 2006 Christmas Dinner

The tables were neat before
the evening crowd began eating

The White Elephant Gifts seemed to
be arriving faster than the guests

Wendy, Mike and the youngest
Lick in the family, Amanda

Melanie and Nathan were busy
drawing sugar plums ( ? ) before the meal

Valerie was so involved in her work she
didn't have time to look at the camera

Honarary Tuesday Toaster, Terry Kennedy
joined the Rowdy Bunch for the evening

Sunny "The Great" had been practicing
and was camera ready this year

Patricia kept our guest informed as well as
engaged in conversation during the evening

After three tries, we found it was impossible
to take Teresa's picture with her eyes open

Mike and Terry kept the conversation going
with subjects covering just about everything

Wendy entertains the crowd with
a Christmas story before dinner

It is a wonderful story about
the infamous "Santa Cows"

(sorry, no pictures of the meal, photographers too busy eating)

Let the GAME begin ! ! !

Wendy and Amanda
open the first gift

Amanda is quite pleased
with just tearing paper

Yes, lucky Wendy, everyone
wants the gift she opened

Steve got a wonderful
box of clementines

Mike surveys his options
and finally chooses

Then he explains the logic he
used in making his decision

Melanie was quite excited
to get into her bag

And it seemed like she would
never get to the goodies

Nathan swapped for the camera
his Dad got as his gift

Terry's gift came with a long
set of instructions

Mike looks apprehensive as
he peeks into his bag

Well, what do you know,
Rudolf has a new home

Tekii was set for hours
of self entertainment

Patricia stole Steve's clementines
much to his disapproval

However, Steve's next gift was
a wonderfully warm comforter

Mike eyeballs Terry's gift
since Nathan stole his camera

And so, now it's Terry's time to
pick another gift from the table

Valerie just doesn't know how
she will ever use her gift

So, Mom comes to the rescue
and steals (swaps) gifts

Somewhere along the line, Sunny
acquired the leopard skin thingy

But now it makes it's way
back to Wendy where it started

And poor Sunny "The Less-Great"
has to pick out another gift

Teresa finally gets her turn and
determines it's not quite her style

So here comes another steal (swap) of the
leopard tail, or whatever it was

Mike listens as Sunny (left of pic)
tries to trade for the magical leopard

And after a bit of negotiation with Teresa,
Mike learns why it's hard to say no to Sunny

So, the inevitable happens and
Sunny once again owns "Leppy Baby"

And a great time was had by all.

Hope to see you next year !
